The basis of our wedding search began with where we met, Yorkshire.
This led to the lightbulb moment when we remembered the beautiful village church which has deep roots within the Almond family. We can't wait to hopefully walk down the aisle with my Grandparents and Great-Grandparents watching from outside and follow in the footsteps of Auntie Pat & Uncle Steve who had their special day there too.
It's made even more special in that we have our close friend Rev. Peterson Feital carrying out the ceremony, let's hope this doesn't lead to too many tears of joy / happiness. Note to self, wear waterproof mascara and make sure the bridesmaids have plenty of tissues to hand.
Name - All Saints Church
Address - Cherry Tree Avenue, Newton on Ouse, YO30 2BN
Parking - There is parking on the village roads by the church for those who are driving direct. However be aware it is a small village so may not be directly by the church, need to allow a little room for bride and bridesmaids arrival!
For those of you without a car we will be providing buses to the church from York and then onto the reception at Newby Hall.
There are two lovely village pubs in Newton-on-Ouse, The Dawnay Arms and The Blacksmith Arms, both within walking distance of the church for anyone who arrives early and needs somewhere to wait. Grab yourself a drink or some food until the ceremony starts.
